Compare PDFs like a pro
PDF Differ is a Mac app intended for designers, editors and art directors
who need to compare PDFs quickly and easily. With both rasterization and
text comparison modes, you can be sure that every detail is covered.
Say goodbye to the limitations of existing comparison tools! PDF Differ can
compare PDFs with different paper sizes, ignore printer's marks and compare
spreads against pages.
Ignore printer's marks
Easily compare original artwork against prepress proofs which contain
bleed, trim and registration marks. PDF Differ will automatically calculate
the offset needed in order to align the content of both pdfs perfectly.
Compare single pages against spreads
Compare single pages against spreads: Print shops will often provide proofs which have
been exported as single pages, while the approved artwork may have been exported
as spreads.
Rasterization modes
The animated view makes spotting low resolution images and small changes
easier than ever. The overlay view allows users to spot elements which
may have been moved accidently.
Text mode
Quickly find the textual differences between two PDFs, while ignoring the
formatting and text reflow of each document. Releasing a 2nd edition of a popular
book with an updated design? no problem. PDF Differ will highlight only the
text which has changed. Users can click on text changes and the relevant PDF page
will be displayed.
We're just getting started
PDF Differ has been developed in collaboration with leading art
directors. Our aim is to produce tools which provide peace of
mind when signing off large print runs and to ensure
that nothing is left to chance.
The app is currently under active development so we're looking for more
beta testers.
